After the success of her EP, Maktub, the Munich-based DJ, producer, and songwriter, released a remixed version of the EP, marking her creative expansion with a fluorescent highlighter pen.

Maktub (Remixes) is a thrilling journey through a diverse landscape of techno, ballroom, bass beats, and high-octane dancefloor electronica. Featuring collaborations with other like-minded allies and femme leaders, the EP includes mind-shifting remixes by Roza Terenzi, Hyperaktivist, Sedef Adasi, and AKUA.

One of the EP’s tracks, “Aziza,” remixed by AKUA, is a festival-goer’s playground. Loud and loaded with head-spinning sensations, this track tunes you in for a rollercoaster ride of pulsating techno and sci-fi beeps and boops.

Not only does this EP spin heads, but it shakes ass, with the track "Act Bad" as the instigator for this bass-heavy bad behavior. Hinting at hedonism, "Act Bad" has become a worldwide club hit, particularly New York Warehouse sets.

Living in New York for eleven years and immersing herself in the city's ballroom scene and trans community, it is safe to say that the cultural magnitude of New York and Munich helped form her musical identity.

A DJ who is unapologetically herself, Bashkka creates moments in the spaces where people are free to express the most authentic versions of themselves. Playing at iconic places like Glastonbury and Tilburgs Draaimolen Festival, Bashkka is shifting her sets into a different gear: an accelerated version of the self that transcends the self and into the collective movement.

With her remixes gaining popularity and appearing on an extensive lineup of A-list track IDs, Bashkka showcases her talent alongside an array of gifted peers. Her latest remix, “Anoyx (Sex Siren Mix)”, courtesy of hosts @body_language_bln & 131bpm, was seen favorited by female Melbourne-based DJ, CC: Disco’s Spotify track ID.

“Anoyx (Sex Siren Mix)” is an echoey deflection of normality. Reptilian-like with rainbow energy and electrically-charged, explosive beats. A certified club cliffhanger, the hollering vocals call you out during the track, calling you to join everyone on the dance floor.
